INTRODUCTION
Teaching internships involve full-time clinically-based instruction in schools under the supervision of a cooperating teacher. The pre-service teachers are shaped to reach their full potential via practical teaching, motivated to give their all and show their dedication to the profession. The student interns have several opportunities throughout this internship to experience actual teaching in the classroom and learn about the teaching profession. The student interns receive a lot of experience in real teaching and learning situations through this particular form of practice. If they plan to work in classrooms and schools in the future, the range of experiences they are exposed to now will shape how they see themselves.
A student's E-Portfolio, on the other hand, is a digital or electronic collection of their work that serves as proof of their academic progress. It includes files in a variety of forms, including text, images, videos, and other types of data.
The author (Janine T. Ancheta) of this e-portfolio presentation presents her forthright and narrative experiences from her Practice Teaching journey with her cooperating school: Camiling West Central Elementary School located at Palimbo Camiling, Tarlac.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Aside from my efforts of mine, I would like to take this moment to thank everyone for the contributions you all have been significant on enhancing my education and professional growth as an intern and a future teacher. I could not have undertaken this journey without the life-changing learning experiences that molded me into a better future educator. I'm extremely pleased that this piece of work is accomplished.
First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge our Almighty God for guiding me and ensuring my success during my teaching journey. I will keep on trusting you for my future. Thank you, Lord.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our Practice Teaching Supervisor, ma'am Analyn Diane P. Silverio, for her constant advice, support and great contribution during my teaching internship journey. Thanks should also go for the honest input, which has helped me improve my shortcomings and directed me toward success. Without her extensive assistance in my practice teaching, I would not be able to achieve what I have today in my profession as a pre-service teacher.
I am very appreciative of my Cooperating Teacher; Ma'am Julie Ann Fe R. Cabudoy, words cannot express my gratitude for her tremendous support and help. Her enthusiastic motivating advice in the field of teaching ranges from classroom management to lesson preparation to the creation of instructional materials. This portfolio would not have materialized without her encouragement and guidance, and my teaching skills would not be as good without her involvement.
I am also grateful to my Kindergarten pupils, Camia and Sampaguita, for their kindness and cooperation, who enthusiastically engaged in all of the classes and activities that made me recognize their importance in the achievement of every goal in each learning area. Without each of them, I wouldn't be the student teacher I am today and I wouldn't be able to impart knowledge.
To my loving and supportive family who serves as my inspiration in all my endeavors. You are my strength in everything and the reason for my success; thank you for your emotional and financial support. I would also like to thank my beloved Peter, for showing his support in everything, and especially for the motivation and encouragement throughout my practice teaching experience.
To my beloved friends, Ma. Isabel, Mharey, Alexandria, and Audley, for your love, understanding, time, and effort, as well as for giving humor and inspiration on a daily basis, in good or times of hardship. You guys made my practice teaching experience rich and worthwhile.
Lastly, I would be remiss in not mentioning my cooperating school; Camiling West Central Elementary School (CWCES), thank you for being a part of my journey, principal, students, and CWCES staff. I will cherish the memory that you were a part of my road to being a successful practice teacher.
And to all those, I have not mentioned, I want to thank everyone who has assisted or encouraged me.
