WEEK 12
May 2, 2023
A rough start to the month of May for me, but I'm still look on the bright side. I missed a lot of opportunities this week. On top of that, I was nominated as a participant for the Best Practice Teacher, but sadly I didn't make it due of my chicken pox. I am quite sad since this was one of the best opportunity I could have had as a student teacher, but I was unable to make it. I am ashamed to my supervisor because I didn't make it till the demo day, I feel sorry ma'am. I am still blessed to be a nominee for best in PT (but didn't make it there). Also, because it was my last day/week with my learners, I missed the opportunity to meet them, but I'm sure I'll see them next week to make up for my absences and have a farewell.
It's sad and upsetting since I missed out on the necessary tasks this week. But I'm simply wondering if this is a test, and God has a greater plan for me. I persuaded myself that I'd be Okay; all I needed to do was relax, recuperate, and keep going since I knew more opportunities were on the way. This week's lesson, and a reminder to everyone, is that health is the most important thing someone can have. It is more than simply "physical" health; it includes the entire body, mind, and soul. Learn to ease up and take care of yourself.
All of the events this week have made me grateful to God for keeping me safe and allowing me to heal quickly.
