ONE OF THE
BEST EXPERIENCE

March 20-23, 2023

There's no such thing as a perfect teacher, there are many ways to become effective teachers of your skills, including using your techniques, methods, resources, and instructions.

A beautiful week and sunrise that brings positivity to everyone. A challenging week has ended, my sixth week takes place with a lot of preparation as well as from the last week up on the announced and scheduled first observation of our practice teaching supervisor. Well, every day I prepared and plan the lesson and materials to utilize during my teaching and learning with the collaboration of learners-to-instruction learners-to-materials, learners-to-ict, learners-to-learners, and learners-to-teacher. I always note the things that need to consider when it comes to teaching that my CT shared with me and I believe as a future teacher it is important to take in part of those things so that teaching could be engaging and effective in teaching and learning. Along with this matter, I am excited to share my experiences during my initial observation of our pt supervisor.

The big day has come on Wednesday one of the most amazing experiences of my teaching internship throughout my session, I am well prepared when materials and instructions from meeting time 12 meeting time 3. Before my turn for observing can I prepare my teaching materials it was my first time teaching in a real classroom setting that our pt supervisor will be evaluating me based on how I teach young learners. I'm a little bit nervous but excited. I thought in the work period 2- numeracy block of time with the topic: I can learn to count from 1 to 20, the beginning of drills counting 1 to 20 and found by game-based teaching and learning approach. At first, I saw how my CT and supervisor were surprised by the game I used which was fun as I saw them raise their phones together to capture the moment of my presentation along with the learners. As expected it was not just the learners have enjoyed it but also my CT and supervisor. Afterward, I felt the enjoyment from my learners and I'm happy to say that I'm delighted with the experience I had even though I felt tired because honestly implementing a game was not easy but yet I succeed in my initial observation. I am thrilled about the praise of my supervisor and my city because I knew I didn't disappoint them with my performance as a teacher in the making.

My initial observation would not be possible without the help of my cooperating teacher Ma'am Julie. I am delighted as a student teacher that I have been allowed to be mentored by a much more dedicated and experienced teacher that constantly gives me pieces of advice and suggestions in terms of my overall teaching performance. I have learned a lot from Ma'am Julie, from the teaching strategies that I can integrate to gain my students' attention, innovating instructional materials, improving the right selection of words during the discussion, and most of all the passion that she imparts it me for being a teacher that has compassion in her profession and passionate dedication in teaching young mind. Moreover, I am beyond grateful to my supervisor Ma'am Anne for the comments and suggestions about my first observation that on the next time, I will consider those things such as being mindful about giving activities to learners considering the reading technique which is top to bottom and left to right and to be more resourceful in making materials that should be durable and still usable in the future. Another insightful dat came from my CT and supervisor that will surely improve some of my teaching and learning, and even more, it motivates me. I am grateful for the opportunity I had as part of my teaching internship journey. All praises to god for giving me strength guidance knowledge and wisdom for this week and for the coming weeks. God bless us all.
